Knights Wrap Up Season in Style

The Colleyville Knights baseball team finished the season with a victory in the TNT Fall Wood Bat 2008 Tournament in Argyle.

The Knights are an Under-14 team in the Colleyville Baseball Association.

Team members include Tyler Kiernan, Justin Garcia, Jason Adams, Austin Pettyjohn, Austin Jones, Robert Weisberg, Matt Howard, Chase Anderson, Austin Ward, Collin Basinger and Chris Arnold.

CMS Wins District Championship

The Carroll Middle School seventh grade volleyball team recently won their district championship with a 2-1 victory against Dawson Middle School.

The Lady Dragons lost the first game 22-25, but rallied in the final two games with scores of 22-15 and 15-6 to win the match.

Carroll defeated Coppell West and Coppell East en route to the district title.

Team members include Lillian Riley, Elli Miller, Mimi Butler, Emily Harris, Gretchen Morrison, Chandler Ferguson, Cassie Kit, Valerie Quintanilla, Avery Alexander and Christin Sikora.

The team is coached by Rebekah Beard and Gayle Wood.

Red Dragons Win Bantam Super Bowl

The Southlake Red Dragons defeated the Grapevine-Colleyville White Texans 29-19 in the Bantam Super Bowl.

Team members include Cole Bleigh, Kyle Warden, Greg Hill, Miles Warren, Matthew

Leehan, Chandler Higgins, Christian Stone, Logan Stelling, Brendan Brett, Harry Blake, Nick Magee, Preston Deno, Jared Klinger, Chandler Fields, Matthew Davis and Racer Seacat.

The team is coached by Russ Seacat, Eric Warden, Troy Fields, David Davis, Tim Stone, Breece Higgins and Richard Stelling.

The team’s cheerleaders include Madeline Whitsett, Gigi Dvorin, Savannah Fields, Nikoletta Shockley, Kenna Taylor, Peyton Rodgers, Abby Taylor, Ashley Stelling, Delaney Bell, Molly Warden, Megan Evans, Avery Zeigler and Sydney Weill.
