Last week the Colleyville Commuter Rail Committee presented its final report to City Council. The Committee’s report highlighted many of the negative aspects of the T’s proposed commuter rail system and station in Colleyville — increased noise, pollution, traffic congestion and crime. What it did not address was the massive cost of the T’s proposal, assuming instead that someone else would foot this bill.

On Father’s Day, I was enjoying a bike ride along one of the trails of Grapevine Lake when I lost control of the bike and took a hard fall into the nearby brush.

What makes this story all the more upsetting is the inability of any official to sound comfortable with the result.

I believe that the decision to not award Anjali Datta the "Highest Ranking Graduate" honor is a disgrace and that those responsible for withholding this honor from her must be held accountable.

I know I’m of an older generation when I read about students cheating in AP courses with little consequence and drivers complaining about being greeted impolitely when breaking traffic laws.
