Aug. 15 Deadline,Sept. 20 - The North Texas Walk for PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease) is set for 8 a.m. registration in Rustin Park, Southlake Town Square, 1400 Main St. The children’s walk will be at 9 a.m., with the regular walk at 9:30 a.m. Meteorologist Larry Mowery of Channel 11 will emcee, and there will be live music. Prizes might be awarded to those who register before 5 p.m. Friday as team captains and those who sign up the most team entrants before that time.
